iPhone 14 does not require a physical SIM card, supports two e-SIM at the same time
Apple has released the iPhone 14 series. The company released four models of iPhone 14 series by organizing the 'Far Out' event on Wednesday night. The phone of this series will not have a physical SIM. However, the physical SIM-free phone will initially be available only in the US. The company said that since the e-SIM can be used, there is no need to go to the store to get a physical SIM.
Through e-SIM, mobile data and services can be used without using a physical SIM. The company has started this service from America to introduce e-SIM. Now e-SIM has come into use in some countries, while in some countries it is in the testing stage. E-SIM also works the same as physical SIM. However, all from electric waves only.
This means that you can get access to mobile services depending on the use of SIM software on the phone. After updating your phone to iOS 15, you can transfer your e-SIM from one iPhone to another via Bluetooth.
It can be moved as easily as a physical SIM from one device to another. iPhone has been supporting E-SIM since 1028, through which two SIMs can be used at the same time.
Only one physical SIM can be used in iPhone. Similarly, if you can use E-SIM, you can use two SIMs at the same time.
In iPhone 13, it is said that two e-SIMs can be used at the same time. The iPhone 14, which will be available in countries other than the US, will have a SIM tray for the physical SIM.
