Currently, there will be no new models of iPhone due to the ban on importing expensive mobile phones in Nepal. By publishing a notification in the gazette, the government has banned the import of expensive mobile phones until October 28.
According to this, the legal way of entry into Nepal for other mobile phones above 300 US dollars has also been closed until the end of the period.
Earlier on May 13th, the government extended the ban on the import of mobile phones above 600 US dollars and imposed a ban on the import of mobile phones above 300 US dollars from July 1.
The impact of this kind of import ban by the government has been mostly on iPhones and other expensive mobile phones.
