Media Hub got the right to broadcast World Cup football in Nepal
The World Cup Football 2022, which is going to be held in Qatar from November 20, 2022, will be shown by Media Hub on television and other media in Nepal.
Through a ceremony held in the capital on Friday, the company announced that it has received the rights to broadcast the World Cup football tournament.
Addressing the program, the president of the company, Somprasad Dhital, informed that they have obtained the monopoly of terrestrial, satellite, DTH, cable, broadband and mobile and other electronic broadcasting of World Cup Qatar 2022.
According to him, all the rights to use, broadcast, sponsor and copy the logo and mascot of World Cup Football 2022 in Nepal will be limited to Media Hub Pvt Ltd.
On this occasion, separate agreements were signed for cooperation with television signal provider organizations NITV Streams and Vianet Communications Pvt Ltd.
The agreement signed with both organizations was signed by Dhital, the company's chairman on behalf of Media Hub, while Vinay Bohra, the company's managing director, on behalf of Vianet Communications, and Manoj Kumar Agarwal, the company's executive director, on behalf of NITV Streams.
According to the agreement, now NetTV and Vianet customers will be able to watch the live broadcast of World Cup 2022.
Similarly, another separate agreement was signed on behalf of both companies, with Edpad Acquisition Pvt. Ltd. as the marketing partner for advertising sales management.
